Madison Reyes

Madison Reyes was born on June 25, 2004, in Brooklyn, New York, to Puerto Rican parents Ricardo and Maggie Reyes. She spent her childhood in Brooklyn but then relocated to Allentown, Pennsylvania, when she was just 10 years old. 

Given that her mother was a sergeant in the army, Madison spent her childhood in a military family. Madison has a younger sister named Megan. She developed a passion for performing arts at an early age and was raised with strong cultural and family ties. 

Love Life and Relationship 

As of 2025, Madison Reyes is single and focuses primarily on her career. Her co-stars and co-performers, with Julie and the Phantoms' Julie being the case in point, have allegedly been dating her. She has, however, not confirmed any relationship and appears dedicated to personal and professional growth.

Career Breakthrough

Madison gained international recognition for portraying the lead role Julie Molina in the Netflix musical television series Julie and the Phantoms (2020). It was her first professional acting and on-screen credit. Director Kenny Ortega discovered her and cast her at the age of 16. 

She received recognition for her role in the series in the way of an MTV Movie Award for Best Musical Moment with her co-stars, and a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Younger Performer. 

Musical Talent

Apart from acting, Madison is also a talented singer and songwriter. She was part of the lead singing roles for the soundtrack of Julie and the Phantoms, writing and singing "Perfect Harmony" alongside co-star Charlie Gillespie. She then ventured into the music industry independently, releasing solo songs like "Te Amo" (2021), "Make It" (2023), and "Moth" (2024), as well as a collaboration song "Main Thing" with Jadah Marie. Her debut EP All Kinds of Love came out in June 2022, releasing her pop genre and personal story.

Education and Early Life Interests

Madison attended the Lehigh Charter High School of the Arts and Arts Academy Charter Middle School in Pennsylvania before switching to homeschooling to sustain her acting career. She engaged in talent shows, dance clubs, and nurtured a passion for music and performance from musicals such as High School Musical. She also taught herself to sing in order to save money on lessons. 

Advocacy and Cultural Identity 

She is proud to be Puerto Rican and is a voice of Latino visibility in media and an advocate for bringing attention to dyslexia, which she has been vocal about. 

She encourages young people with learning issues to believe in their capability and the possibility of success in the arts.

Madison had many awards and nominations including an MTV Movie & TV Award for Best Musical Moment, a Tell-Tale TV Award for Favorite Actress in a Cable or Streaming Comedy Series, an Imagen Award for Best Young Actress in Television, and a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Younger Performer.
