Kyle Alessandro Helgesen Villalobos was born on March 10, 2006, in Levanger, Norway, and spent his youth in Steinkjer and Trondheim. Kyle is half-Spanish, with a Spanish father and a Norwegian mother. His multicultural heritage played a significant role in affecting his musical genre and artistic career. 

Personal Life and Relationship 

Kyle publicly revealed himself as bisexual in August 2025. Around the same period, he openly acknowledged his dating relationship with model Brede Bremnes through a moving TikTok video of a lovely moment between the two. Before his public acknowledgment, Kyle had posted subtle indications about their relationship on social media. 

Being vocal about his sexual orientation and love life has helped enhance his reputation as an authentic and earthy figure within Norway's music circle. 

Career Beginnings 

Kyle first gained national fame at the tender age of 10 by participating in Norske Talenter (Norway's Got Talent) in 2017.

This early exposure set him on his career path as a musician, and he released his debut single "Din Sang" and debut studio album Første Kapittel in 2018. 

Musical Projects and Collaborations 

Kyle was part of Umami Tsunami, a band that blends Western pop and Eastern musical influences, in 2023. The band participated in Melodi Grand Prix 2023 with the song "Geronimo," which proceeded to the final round. Kyle departed from the band in early 2024 to focus on his solo career.

Melodi Grand Prix 2025 and Eurovision 

As a solo artist, Kyle returned to Norway's Melodi Grand Prix in 2025 with the entry "Lighter," composed in cooperation with producer Adam Woods.

He won the name of the contest, which provided him with a ticket for representing Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. He qualified to the grand final and finished 18th. 

Music Discography 

Kyle has only released two studio albums, which are Første Kapittel (2017) and Evig & Alltid (2023), and several solo singles alongside Umami Tsunami. His songs are predominantly of the pop and R&B genre, with his song "Lighter" having been a major success in many countries. 

Television and TV Shows 

In addition to his music and competition show appearances, Kyle has also made various Norwegian television show appearances, including Allsang på Grensen, contributing to his visibility and fame.
