Areana Lopez

Areana Evani Lopez was born on May 21, 2005, in Apple Valley, California. She is the eldest of four sisters, Maiya, Contessa, and Jordan, and grew up in a loving and supportive family with her parents Sari and Miguel Lopez. As a child, Areana was encouraged to do what she loved and allow her creativity to run free, which provided a prelude to her later work in the performing arts.

Personal Life & Relationships

Areana balances her busy schedules of school, dancing, and modeling with her personal life. She became married to her boyfriend, Elijah, on June 21, 2024, a new chapter in her life. Areana joyfully informed the world in July 2025 that she and Elijah are expecting their first child together. 

Throughout, she emphasizes having to balance her professional dreams with leading a happy and balanced personal life.

Dance Career

Already a dance addict at the age of two, Areana learned intensely in local dance studios such as K2 Studios and Dolce Dance Studio, excelling in styles such as contemporary, jazz, and lyrical. Her diligence and talent soon became championship victories at premier dance competitions such as Starbound and Spotlight.

Areana's hard work paid off when she was part of the Abby Lee Dance Company Mini Team on the sixth season of the popular reality television show Dance Moms. The experience gave her more exposure and much-needed competitive exposure at a national level.

Areana's stint on Dance Moms catapulted her to the national platform. A member of the Abby Lee Mini Team, she was observed to possess technical skill, stage presence, and maturity in competition.
